Cuba and Panama produce mainly fruit wines from pineapples and mangos. However, in Cuba, The Bodegas San Cristobal produces red, white and pink wines from grapes. They planted genetically modified vines to adjust them to the tropical heat. Bodegas del Caribe, another Cuban winery located in La Habana province, planted a variety of Spanish grapes adapting them to the climate and soil conditions of the Cuban Island.
Canada, Mexico and the United States offer a variety of wines made of grapes and fruits with the associated tours and tasting and festivals to celebrate the local wines. You will also find the occasional Meadery and Sake producer.
