California: Central Coast Wine Regions

The Central Coast wine region consists of Monterey, San Benito, San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara, and Santa Cruz. With over 600 wineries in the Central Coast wine region it is hard to miss them all. San Luis Obispo County's 330+ wineries lead the way and there are over 170 wineries in Santa Barbara County. But quality comes before quantity with wine; this makes San Benito County, with about 12 wineries, a well worthwhile visit.
