Kentucky has been divided into four sections. Central, North, Southeast, and West.
The largest concentration of wineries is in the Northern region. Surprisingly, less than 50% of Kentucky wineries have a home on the Internet.
There is one approved American Viticultural Area in the State of Kentucky.
Ohio River Valley AVA: The Ohio River Valley viticultural area is located in Indiana, Ohio, West Virginia and Kentucky.
