The wineries of Maine are located in three areas: Down East, Mid Coast, and South Coast.

Counties included in each area are:

Down East: Penobscot, Hancock and Washington.
Mid Coast: Androscoggin, Kennebec, Knox, Lincoln, Sagadahoc and Waldo.
South Coast: Cumberland and York.
