Belarus

Belarus does not grow grapes in commercial volumes to support the Wine industry. Most of the grapes used for Wine are brought in from other countries.

Belarus is located in eastern Europe, east of Poland, west of Russia and to the north of the Ukraine. It covers a total area of 207,600 sq km and has an approx population of 9,577,552. Minsk is the capital.

The climate in Belarus is moderately continental, a transitional form from maritime to continental climate with cold winters, cool and moist summers.
